Network & Backbone in the Training Room
It is important to us to support our customers with a very powerful training infrastructure, which is why we have fitted out our training room with high-performance workstations, a 10 GBit backbone and a fast 100 MBit internet connection.
Switch-infrastructure specification for back-bone:
- HP ProCurve 48 Port GBit Switch with redundant 10 GBit uplink connection
- Redundant ProCurve 6600-24XG 10 GBit switch as edge-uplink
- Second trainer-station directly connected with 10 GBit
- All workstations operate on 2 GBit NICs
This provides users with options to implement various individual wireless LAN-layouts.
The backbone infrastructure also provides the following components:
- 1 BladeServer with 32 GB Memory RAM, 6-Core CPU and SSD-drive
- One Tera Byte storage (iSCSI/NFS/CIFS) via the 10 GBit-backbone
